Literature: “Jean Cocteau - La recontre avec Jean Cocteau et Edouard Dermit” by Gerard Economos, published by Galerie Arts et Autogaphes, 9 rue de l’Odeon, 75006 Paris in 2002. In this work Gerard explains how in 1955, at the age of 20, he met Jean Cocteau. He was a young artist exhibiting his work in Paris and on another painting,  in the same show,  saw a portrait of Jean Cocteau which he admired. Discussing the work with the other artist he found he was none other then Edouard Dermit, the adopted son of Jean Cocteau. At a later show in a Grand Galerie he was introduced to Cocteau who invited me to his home in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. He became good friends both with Edourd Dermit and with Cocteau.
